Custom Commands Bot

Create chat commands with custom replies, access rules, per-user cooldowns, and one-time use limits. Manage each installer's commands from the web panel.

Just installed the bot? Use !cc config in chat to open your command panel.

Get started

  1. Install the bot through Joystick and approve the permissions it requests.
  2. In your chat, send !cc config. The bot whispers you a private link to your command panel.
  3. Create a command, choose its access and response options, then save it.
  4. Try it in chat by typing !name, using the name you gave the command.

The configuration link is temporary and expires after 30 minutes.

Command options

  • Name: use letters, numbers, underscores, or hyphens. For example, a command named welcome is triggered with !welcome.
  • Access: allow everyone, followers, or subscribers.
  • Cooldown: limit how often each user can use the command. When it ends, the bot whispers that the command is available again.
  • One-time use: allow each user to use the command once. A streamer can restore an individual user's access from the Users button.
  • Reply message: send the reply publicly or as a whisper.

Personalize replies

Use {username} in the reply message to insert the person’s username, or @{username} to mention them. Both work in public replies and whispers.

In whisper replies, plain URLs and links written as [text](URL) are clickable.

Built-in commands

  • !cc config sends the streamer a private link to manage commands.
  • Any other !cc command from the streamer sends a private link to this About page.
  • !commands privately lists the configured commands and their access, cooldown, and response settings.

Manage user access

Choose Users beside a command to see who is currently in cooldown or has used a one-time command. The list shows the remaining cooldown. Use Reset cooldown or Allow again to restore access for one person immediately.
